The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fire Museum and Education Center is committed to fire safety and education as part of an on-going outreach effort in the community. It is also dedicated to the preservation of the rich history of firefighting within the city of Charlotte and surrounding areas of Mecklenburg County, and the dissemination of the fire service to the public through programs, exhibitions, and educational activities.
